Dynamic Special Order

What is it?

A functionality that allows a NetSuite user to create a Sales Order for an item that is not fulfilled with regular stock, rather it is linked to a specific Purchase Order from a vendor. The Dynamic Special Order Add-on allows the user to link multiple Sales Orders to a single Special Order Purchase Order.

Why was it created?

Our customer, a network integration company, rarely keeps stock. Approximately 90% of orders are deemed “special”. The current NetSuite Special Order process is strictly one sales order equals one purchase order.

Dynamic Special Ordering allows our customer to receive discounts for volume purchases and link Special Order Purchases to multiple sales orders. By providing this service to our customer, ERP Guru ensured their transition from their old ERP system to NetSuite was a smooth and efficient one.
