Olivier Gagnon – NetSuite User Group Guru

When Olivier Gagnon, IT-Ration Senior Consultant, arrived to work one morning last October, he was greeted with a very pleasant surprise in his inbox – a thank you note from Michele Gariepy, Director of Customer Support at NetSuite.

Since February of 2005, Olivier has been an active member of the NetSuite user group community. He is in the top ten of all posters with over 1,284 posts. His participation is mostly as a helper and he tries to answer at least three to four questions per day.

When he started using the group way back in ’05, Olivier found himself mostly asking questions. He utilized the user group as a resource to help him in his work as a consultant for IT-Ration, a NetSuite Partner. Eventually, and in the spirit of community, Olivier decided he needed to give back and start answering questions himself. His original goal was to have a question to answer ration of 1:1, a goal that he has surpassed and can no longer measure as he finds himself only answering questions these days.

“I want to advance the NetSuite community, and in order for that to happen everyone needs to take steps forward. Sharing my knowledge helps those steps happen”. Scripting is his specialty, but you can find Olivier’s answers all over the forum.
